Miri Nahmias, Staff Attorney
Miri has a bachelor's degree in law, as well as in sociology and international relations, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Miri interned in the field of educational law at Kabiri, Nevo, Keidar & Co, also working in labor law, representing workers in mediation and Labor court. She has worked at IRAC since 2013.
In her work as an attorney at IRAC, Miri deals with freedom of religion, the exclusion of women, advancing public transportation on Shabbat, religion in the army, the legal representation of Reform communities, and guiding the Reform movement in the field of educational law. Miri writes petitions to the Supreme Court as well as works on advancing policy in the field of freedom of religion. Miri lives in Shoham with her partner and two children.
